For Alphonse A. Sasso, leadership is about building something that lasts — for his team, for Audigy’s members, and ultimately for the communities they serve. As Vice President of the Commercial Division, he brings this long-term mindset to everything he does, from shaping strategy to mentoring leaders to welcoming new members into the Audigy community.
Audigy’s Very Own Builder

While his official title may be Vice President of the Commercial Division, Alphonse sees his work in broader terms. He is a builder of teams, of trust, of opportunities, and ultimately of something enduring that outlives any single moment.
“My purpose is to understand what our team is trying to accomplish on any given day. Next, I do everything in my power to support them and turn those objectives into realities.”
That mindset is what fuels his leadership at Audigy. Whether he’s championing new members, coaching his team, or connecting strategy to action, his focus is always on creating the kind of culture and community that will stand strong into the future.
A Day in the Life

Alphonse’s role at Audigy is dynamic, fast-paced, and layered with opportunities to support both his team and members.
His mornings often begin with an executive team strategy call, where long-term vision meets short-term execution. These conversations focus on market trends, organizational priorities, and aligning on initiatives that will benefit members for years to come.
From there, it’s a rhythm of reviewing KPIs and pipeline health, alignment calls with his team, one-on-ones with direct reports, prospective member meetings, and strategy sessions with potential partners. Whether Alphonse is looking at dashboards or sitting across from a prospective member, he tries to turn every moment into a chance to ask the same central question: Are we building something that lasts?
Even within his coaching conversations with his team, Alphonse brings this perspective. A team member mused, “Alphonse doesn’t hand out answers but empowers our team to find our own path forward. I’m grateful to be part of his team and to work alongside someone who leads with heart and positivity every single day.”
Supporting Members

In his role, Alphonse spends much of his time meeting with prospective members. These early conversations are where the seeds of long-term partnership are planted.
“I love every opportunity to have the privilege of working with our members. Being on the commercial side of the house, I am more often working with members in the beginning of their Audigy Journey. That said, Audigy’s members are the heartbeat of the hearing health care community. I see our members as the innovators and the ones who constantly challenge the status quo, pushing our industry in the right direction. Our members make me proud to be an ambassador for Audigy to the marketplace.”
His pride in Audigy’s members is unmistakable. For Alphonse, these innovators are shaping not just their own businesses but the broader industry, ensuring patients everywhere receive the very best in care and innovation.
His respect for what our members bring to the world inspires the care and enthusiasm he brings to every interaction. As one colleague put it, “Alphonse’s encouragement and perspective make it easier for me and my teammates to do our jobs.”
Supporting the Team

Alphonse’s leadership extends deeply to the Commercial team, where he is known for positivity, perspective, and the kind of encouragement that builds confidence.
“Alphonse is the definition of positive,” says a teammate. “You can’t help but come away from a conversation with him energized and ready to tackle whatever the rest of the day brings.”
Says another team member: “If you looked up ‘positive’ in the dictionary, you just might find a picture of Alphonse. He brings unwavering optimism and support to everything he does, making him an incredible leader and teammate.”
Kelsey Rutis, Head of Marketing Programs, shared her perspective: “Alphonse is an empathetic and encouraging leader. He leads by example, maintaining a focus on optimism and opportunity. He inspires his team and colleagues to stay focused on what’s possible and cultivates a sense of gratitude for all that we have.”
Through all of this, Alphonse doesn’t just lead — he multiplies leadership, ensuring his team has the confidence, clarity, and culture to succeed long after any single project is complete.
Lindsay Ash, Director of Corporate Marketing, echoed Kelsey’s sentiment: “When he first joined the organization, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. It is not common for someone to step into an executive role from the outside, especially from one of our sister companies. But from the very beginning, he has been a breath of fresh air. Alphonse is incredibly supportive and goes out of his way to ensure we have what we need to succeed. Even though the function my team plays was new to him, he has been fully committed to learning what we do so he can better champion our work. He consistently looks for the good in people and uplifts those around him with a positive, constructive approach. I truly feel fortunate to work with and for him.”
Building on a Legacy

Behind Alphonse’s commitment to building something lasting is a deeply personal story. Since he was young, he looked up to his father — not just as a parent but as a leader.
“Since I was young, I’ve wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps,” he says. “I admired his life, his professionalism, and especially his passion for leading a sales organization. Talking strategy with him shaped my own goals. I’ve always aimed to carry on his legacy of passion, integrity, and leading teams to historic success. Kim, Mason, and the Audigy executive team gave me the chance to live that vision. I am deeply grateful, humbled, and truly blessed to work alongside this team every day. This isn’t just a career, it’s a calling, and I live it with a full heart.”
That legacy continues not only at Audigy but in his own family. Every Sunday, his extended family gathers at his parents’ home to share food, laughter, and fellowship. With his wife, Samantha, and their four children, Alphonse is carrying forward the same values of connection, leadership, and faith that were modeled for him.
What He Loves About Audigy

For Alphonse, what stands out most about Audigy is the culture of growth and encouragement.
“What I enjoy most about Audigy is the push to become the best version of ourselves. I love that our team challenges one another to elevate our game. I believe we live out the phrase ‘As iron sharpens iron, so does one person sharpen another.’”
It’s this culture of sharpening one another that makes his work so fulfilling. Every challenge becomes an opportunity to grow, both for himself and for those around him.
Life Outside the Office

Away from work, Alphonse continues to live by the same values he brings into the office. He and Samantha are raising four children, Hope Capri (12), Alphonse James “AJ” (10), Lucio Vincenzo (8), and Silas Joel (6). Watching them play sports, act in plays, and grow in confidence brings him immense joy.
He’s passionate about coaching youth sports, including basketball, soccer, football, and baseball. “Helping others realize their potential gives me a tremendous amount of joy. Watching my athletes grow in their confidence and their belief in their ability is something that gives me energy.”
And, of course, there’s his beloved Buffalo Bills — a team he believes will win the Super Bowl every single year.
Looking Ahead

As Alphonse looks forward, his focus remains steady: Build something that lasts. Whether through welcoming new members, sharpening his team, or investing in his family and community, he’s carrying forward a legacy of passion, positivity, and perseverance.
“Alphonse’s ability to lift others up while pushing forward with optimism truly embodies what it means to live ‘Beyond Positive Thinking.’”
It’s a philosophy he lives every day — and a reminder that real leadership is about more than today’s success. It’s about tomorrow’s impact.
