A native Oregonian, he has a deep love for the outdoors, shaped by a childhood spent in the mountains, on the lakes, and along the Oregon coast. Today you can often find him in his garden, tending to fruits and vegetables, or simply enjoying time outside.
Earlier in his career, Steve worked as a counselor supporting at-risk youth, helping guide them toward stability and independence. While that path eventually led him in a different direction, the desire to support others has remained a constant thread throughout his life and career.
