JoAnna was hired as a Finance Manager within Audigy’s Strategic Business Unit, initially supporting Practice Developer West members. In late 2025, she transitioned into her current role supporting the Market Influencer West territory, while continuing to help wherever she can across the organization.

Most days begin with a check-in alongside her teammates, ensuring alignment before jumping into member calls. From there, JoAnna is either meeting directly with owners or preparing for conversations that will shape critical decisions.

“On paper the job is about financial reporting and analysis,” JoAnna shares. “You’d think I’m at my computer with a calculator all day, but I’ve found it to be much more relationship-driven.”

The real work isn’t just spreadsheets. It’s helping owners think through hiring, compensation, pricing, expansion, equipment investments, or navigating a tough season with clarity and confidence. As one colleague puts it, “JoAnna consistently goes above and beyond, not only in her professional role but also in her positive impact on our team and members.”

JoAnna’s day-to-day work is centered around helping members see their financial story clearly and act on it wisely.

JoAnna helps owners understand what their numbers are truly telling them.

Together they look at revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and overall financial health. The goal is never just reviewing results, it’s understanding what is driving them and what adjustments will help owners move closer to their goals.

JoAnna works closely with her territory team to support members progressing along the Owner Maturity Model, building strategic plans, aligning budgets with priorities, and helping practices make decisions that serve both the business and the life behind it.

If a member is planning to expand, hire, take out a loan, or adjust pricing, JoAnna is there to walk through the financial side of those decisions with steadiness and care.

She is especially proud of her work supporting legacy transitions, where an owner is able to transition ownership to a successor within their practice.

“These transitions can be complex and emotional,” JoAnna says. “Helping an owner step away knowing their practice is in good hands is incredibly rewarding.”

Audigy has also supported her in creating meaningful life memories outside of work; including a trip to Hawaii with extended family and a long-awaited girls trip with friends.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, JoAnna’s happy place is simple: time with family.

Whether it’s going to a movie, relaxing at home, or traveling together, she finds joy in shared experiences. Her family loves Hawaii, cruising, and exploring new places across the U.S. and Europe, with hopes of planning an extended trip to Asia someday.

She also enjoys art, architecture, and live performances: concerts, ballet, musicals, and more. She is passionate about supporting the arts. While many members know her as a steady financial guide, there is one surprising detail from her past life: JoAnna is a co-inventor on a patent from her former career as an engineer!

A Passion for Business

JoAnna’s career journey began in engineering, drawn by her love of math and science. But even then, she found herself captivated by the business questions underneath the work.

“How much would it cost to scale production?” she recalls. “How do we account for R&D costs on the balance sheet?”

That curiosity led her to pursue an MBA in finance and operations, launching the career she has today.

After receiving her MBA, JoAnna worked in corporate finance in areas such as pricing, strategic planning, cash flow, and operating expense management. She later leveraged those skills into business ownership when her family owned a small manufacturing company in Northern California, an experience that further rounded out her perspective.

That firsthand ownership experience has helped her connect deeply with private-practice owners and approach conversations with empathy for the day-to-day challenges that numbers alone don’t fully capture.

That through-line has always been there: a love of business, strategy, and helping organizations run smarter.

Audigy allows her to bring all of those experiences together — corporate finance, business ownership, and strategic partnership — in service of helping members build stronger, more sustainable practices.
