When it comes to quiet excellence, few people embody it quite like Katya Wade. As a Senior Account Coordinator at Audigy, Katya is a behind-the-scenes powerhouse who manages complex marketing campaigns, drives process innovation, and uplifts everyone around her. She does this with a calm, focused presence that inspires trust and admiration. She may not seek the spotlight, but her work speaks volumes.

Her Role at Audigy

Katya’s journey with Audigy began in June 2021, when she joined the team as an Account Coordinator immediately after graduating from WSU Vancouver. Her aptitude for organization, communication, and project management quickly set her apart. In November 2023, she was promoted to Senior Account Coordinator, a role that sees her leading and supporting a wide range of member-facing and internal initiatives.

Katya manages projects in close collaboration with Audigy’s Marketing, Creative, Digital, and Operations teams. Her work touches nearly every area of the marketing life cycle —from collateral orders and direct mail campaigns to digital assets and social media content. She also helps lead the triannual print newsletter program, manages accounting responsibilities for the AC team, and plays a key role in the integration and success of HearingLoss.com® onboarding projects.

“Our role is balanced between working directly with our members and coordinating action behind the scenes,” she explains. “ACs are a communication hub, and while some parts of the job are very consistent, there is always something new and exciting that keeps the work fresh and engaging.”

A Day in the Life

Katya’s days are a mix of hands-on project execution and strategic oversight. She spends much of her time fielding emails, reviewing timelines, checking in with teammates, and ensuring that no detail falls through the cracks. A typical day might include prepping deliverables for an SBU call, coordinating with the media-buying team on print ads and billboards, working with the web team to update landing-page assets, and collaborating with the social media and marketing automation teams to ensure that members’ e-blasts, social posts, and more go out on time and on brand.

No matter the task, Katya approaches every project with the same intention: to make life easier for Audigy members. “Our members are focused on providing high-quality patient care,” she says. “I know I’m making a positive impact when I can help guide creative changes or manage the logistics of a print order so that our members don’t need to worry over the difference between 100-lb. paper versus 10-pt. cardstock.”

Her ability to juggle dozens of moving parts while staying laser-focused on the details makes her an indispensable part of the team. As one colleague noted, “Katya’s skill in creating structure and simplicity where others might struggle is evident in everything she does. She provides consistent, effective solutions that keep things moving forward.”

Supporting Audigy Members

Katya serves as the bridge between departments, ensuring that marketing efforts flow smoothly and that each piece of a campaign, from strategy to execution, is aligned with the member’s goals.

She checks in regularly with members to ensure projects are progressing as expected and takes pride in tailoring every deliverable to their needs and preferences. Whether it’s remembering a provider’s favorite headshot or maintaining ZIP code targeting for a direct mail piece, she finds small, meaningful ways to show members they’re heard and valued.

“I love finding small ways to wow our members and show that we’re dialed in to their needs,” she says. “It’s incredibly rewarding to help bring a custom project to life or source the perfect promotional items for an upcoming health fair.”

Katya’s work isn’t limited to the members she directly supports; she plays an integral role in team-wide process improvements, supports internal initiatives, and frequently collaborates with colleagues across departments to ensure that Audigy’s standards of excellence remain high.

Her dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. Rob Kennedy, Director of Marketing Operations, shares, “Katya doesn’t just support her own members. She lifts the whole team and is always focused on making sure every member has the best possible experience with Audigy. Her dedication to our shared success is felt in the way that she shows up every day — not just for our members but for all of us.”

Personal & Professional Growth

One of the many things that sets Katya apart is her commitment to continuous improvement. She recently earned her Google Project Management Certificate, a milestone that reflects her passion for leveling up her skills and expanding her impact.

Her manager and colleagues supported her throughout the certification process, and the investment has already paid off. “It was a big step forward in growing into increased responsibilities as a Senior Account Coordinator,” Katya says.

She also plays a key role in training and onboarding new Account Coordinators. That experience has helped her deepen her own understanding of the role and fine-tune standard operating procedures that benefit the entire team.

“I love working on process improvement projects,” she adds. “I’m always looking for ways to streamline cross-team collaboration, help make tasks easier and more consistent to execute, and ultimately deliver more value to our members.”

Katya’s impact has been recognized through two Gerber Process Development Awards (Q3 2022 and Q1 2025), a prestigious honor given to those who excel in creating, streamlining, and maintaining the systems that move Audigy and its members forward.

As Adrienne Entwistle, Audigy’s Marketing Operations Manager, put it, “Katya’s dedication goes beyond just doing the job. She consistently shows up with a commitment to Audigy’s vision and our team’s collective success. Her support, reliability, and drive elevate everyone around her.”

Life Outside of Work

When she isn’t managing campaigns or refining workflows, Katya enjoys a well-rounded personal life filled with creativity and connection. She loves playing video games, going out to eat with her husband, and visiting her family in Newport Beach, California — especially during the summer and holiday seasons.

Katya is also a game developer. She co-founded CMDC Studios, a video game studio that she launched with fellow WSU Vancouver alumni after their first game, “Quest for Arete,” won the Crimson Award for Research in the Humanities at WSU’s 2021 Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA).

CMDC Studios is dedicated to helping students and alumni build skills and portfolios that prepare them for careers in the gaming industry and beyond. Katya describes the work as incredibly fulfilling. “It’s extremely rewarding to help folks transfer their degree skills to projects outside of the classroom and provide opportunities that grow leadership and technical skills across many disciplines.”

A Commitment to Community

In addition to her work at CMDC Studios, Katya remains closely connected to the WSU community and credits her mentors, especially Dr. Dene Grigar, with helping shape her path. Her dedication to giving back through mentorship and skill-building projects underscores her passion for fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation within her own community.

A True Partner

Katya’s colleagues often describe her as someone who leads through action. As one teammate shares, “Katya is always positive no matter what the situation or project. She leads not only by example but through words and action.”

Whether she’s integrating HearingLoss.com systems, managing dozens of concurrent projects, or training the next wave of Account Coordinators, Katya brings a level of excellence and empathy that makes a measurable difference.

“Katya has the ability to expertly streamline processes and drive success for both Audigy and our members,” says a colleague. “One standout example is her work in integrating HearingLoss.com into our existing systems. She plays a key role in ensuring the integration is smooth and efficient.”

That same spirit of collaboration is echoed throughout the organization. “Katya is the kind of teammate who shows up consistently, listens deeply, and delivers without fail. Her ability to stay cool under pressure while bringing projects to life is unmatched,” shares a fellow Account Coordinator.

Looking Ahead

Katya’s future at Audigy is as bright as her track record is strong. She’s considering pursuing her PMP certification (Project Management Professional) and is always seeking opportunities to expand her impact, learn from her peers, and refine her craft.

Her passion for organization, communication, and project management is matched only by her commitment to service. Whether she’s solving complex logistics or simply making sure a flyer looks just right, Katya pours intention into everything she does.

Audigy is proud to have team members like Katya Wade — the kind of expert who doesn’t make a lot of noise but who makes all the difference.
