Marketing
The intern would be responsible for creating social content calendars for Audigy and Audigy Medical with crossover for use on AGX® Hearing, with variations for Canada. This includes creating graphics, writing associated copy for social posts, and developing any supporting materials (i.e., blog posts, infographics, etc.). The tasks would be similar for corporate marketing, in addition to email marketing strategy support. For email marketing, working with our New Membership Development Team to identify email templates, messaging, and strategy for sales and auto-response messages.
Events
Team Summit is the most impactful program in the private-practice hearing care space. Our members and their teams represent the who’s-who of the industry, and with an ever-changing industry landscape, the Learning and Development Team will be tasked with creating one of the biggest and baddest events in the company’s history. Our goal in taking on an intern is to help ensure that this program meets the already high standards that we have set for Audigy programs. For anyone interested in events/marketing/strategic planning/business relations, etc., this is the internship to beat all internships.
Human Resources (Training and Development)
This internship will consist of documenting of all existing learning resources in CEO™ (plans, courses, and knowledge objects); updating keywords for easier searchability; developing a “pull” strategy in which we entice learners to seek out content online; curation of courses and knowledge objects into automated plans (for a new hire, professional development plans, management training, etc.); creation of an internal training marketing strategy; and conversion of courses already being developed for other purposes into up-to-date online training content benefiting many audiences (Team Summit workshops, Lunch & Learn topics, Core Essentials/SBE trainings).
IT Software Engineer
In this internship, you will create a web interface to manage corrections to manufacturer data. Currently, there isn’t a way to track changes when corrections are made. The user needs to wait before validating any changes. The only way to modify a prior correction is by offsetting it with a new correction. However, with a web interface, the validation would be instantaneous. Prior corrections could be easily modified. The changes will be logged, allowing for auditing. This will increase efficiency and mean fewer points of failure due to the system being more intuitive and requiring less training. You will create a dashboard to provide live and actionable data to a department team. Depending on the team, the data could be sourced from the data warehouse or an external data source. As an example, currently, identifying the number of units sold as reported by the manufacturer versus Pulse can be cumbersome. Most tools used for this purpose are Excel based and require manual refreshing.
Human Resources
This internship will provide support in the HR shared services transition, supporting with creating job descriptions, handbooks, researching culture and team-based articles to create a bank of CEO posts, and potentially supporting with a birthday/anniversary card system for the SBUs to have a high touch point with members. The big project would be to collect all member compensation plans and track them (potentially in our CRM).
